Forward with Purpose serves as an iterative and flexible roadmap for Temple, grounded in our vision to be known and respected as one of the nation’s leading urban public research universities.
The Strategic Plan is organized around three central priorities—Student Success, Research in Action and Place-based Impact—and three foundational principles, all serving as a shared framework for progress and guiding the work the university will do to achieve the plan’s objectives. An inclusive and intentional planning process that engaged conversations with Temple students, faculty, staff, alumni and community partners informed how the plan would be structured.
